ABOUT DAWA NETS

DAWA^®PLUS, long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets (LNs) produced by Tana Netting, is one of the most effective tools in combating malaria. DAWA^®PLUS is made of 100% polyester and is treated with the insecticide deltamethrin, which repels, knocks down and kills mosquitoes, thereby reducing the risk of malaria transmission and ensuring a good night’s sleep.

The insecticide on DAWA^®PLUS remains effective for over 20 washes, offering durable protection. Unlike conventional insecticide treated nets (ITNs), which must be re-treated every four to five washes, DAWA^®PLUS requires no re-treatment over the lifetime of the net. It is widely used in Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and Asia.
